Now, I’m not a professional bartender…but I sure do like to dabble.  Days like today give me the excuse to reach into the liquor cabinet and just play around.  The following is based on a classic cocktail, the Mudslide.  Heck, for all I know someone has already made this famous somewhere else but for me today it’s a first so allow me to introduce you to the Japanese Mudslide:

A traditional Mudslide is basically equal parts of Vodka, Bailey’s, and Kahlua.

The Japanese Mudslide simply replaces the Vodka with Sake.

Japanese Mudslide

2oz Baileys
2oz Kahlua
1oz Sake

Shake all the ingredients with ice and strain into your favorite glass.  Yum!
