With the spot of bad luck on our way into Vietnam one would think the flights out would be wonderful. This wasn’t exactly the case. We wound up having to stay an extra night in Ho Chi Minh City due to travel delays. But this was the only downside. Up side number one: our accommodations. After a rough day of travel nothing makes all those cares slip away like a stay at the Park Hyatt Saigon. Unfortunately I was far too tired to utilized any of the hotels amenities, or do much looking around on street level. I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay mostly due to the food I would say. (Big surprise for a guy like me.) Our late night arrival at the Park Hyatt left us both starving and exhausted. Deciding to fix one problem at a time, and thankfully choosing the food option first, we quickly headed to Square One where we were greeted by massive bowls of dried chili peppers. The food was really good, the stars of the meal being the prawn and sweet corn ceviche starter and the whole grilled black cod.
