Found at Lost

As you probably know I typically stick to food but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to promote probably one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of being served by. Not only is Manoj friendly and attentive, he makes excellent beverages. I’m typically a beer or Jack & Coke kind of guy when I go to the bar but Manoj likes to excite his regular guests with sample mini cocktails (shooters) and although I’ll probably stick with my safe choices in other bars, when I go to Lost I may be inclined to sample some of his signature concoctions. Although yet unnamed due to Manoj’s modesty, he makes a delicious drink made of peach schnapps, lychee liquer, vodka, orange juice, and a dash of bitters which I highly recommend. So if you’re ever in the vicinity of Lang Kwai Fong and need your thirst quenched with exciting flavors, go find Manoj at Lost. Let him know that John sent you looking for his signature drink and try to suppress your giggles as the big guy turns into a kid who gets to show off his newest toy.

Until next time, Keep on Eatin’

Sounds delicious! I’ve never tried bitters before, might have to try some, then make this. Whats a good brand?

I would suggest from my extremely limited bar tending experience (but mostly from my extensive bar attending experience) that Angostura Bitters is the choice of champions. But be fair warned, a few drops of this stuff goes a long LONG way. Last but not least, always remember to drink responsibly 🙂
